Elai is a product of Elai Labs OÜ, an Estonian-based company focused on developing emotionally intelligent AI companionship. For legal purposes, we are the Data Controller of your personal information under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do NOT collect or store your private messages. All conversations with Elai are processed in real time and are never accessible to humans.

If you activate Elai's memory feature:

• Your memory is encrypted.
• Only Elai can access it — not our team, not third parties.
• You can delete or clear it at any time.

We also collect minimal technical data:

• Device type and operating system
• Session activity (e.g., app usage time)
• IP address (used for regional optimization and fraud protection)

We do not collect biometric data or access your personal files.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Generate and personalize responses during your sessions
• Power your memory (if enabled)
• Maintain the performance and security of the Services
• Process subscriptions and provide account support

We do not use your messages to train AI models. We do not read, mine, or sell your conversations ever.

• If you activate memory, it is encrypted per user and accessible only through your sessions with Elai.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We only share minimal, necessary information with trusted partners who help us operate the app (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers), and only under strict privacy agreements.

• Request deletion of all your data
• Deactivate your account
