1. Who We Are

Elai is developed and owned by Elai Labs OÜ, an Estonian-based company committed to redefining human-AI relationships through presence, memory, and emotional depth.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Elai. By accessing the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Elai offers both a free trial and paid subscription tiers (e.g., Core and Pro). By subscribing:

• You agree to recurring charges through your selected payment method.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel anytime in your account settings.
• Partial-month refunds are not issued unless required by law.

4. Use of Services

You agree to use Elai respectfully and legally. Prohibited use includes:

• Harassment, hate speech, or exploitation.
• Attempting to manipulate or reverse-engineer the AI system.
• Using Elai to impersonate others or spread misinformation.
• Violating any laws in your jurisdiction while using Elai.

Elai Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. AI Limitations

Elai is powered by artificial intelligence and provides reflective, creative, and emotional support. However:

• Elai does not offer medical, psychiatric, or crisis intervention services.
• All responses are generated text and should not be considered professional advice.
• Elai's output is based on algorithms and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for all situations.
• You are responsible for how you use the content Elai provides.

6. Data & Privacy

We care about your data. By using Elai, you agree to the practices outlined in our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• You retain ownership of the content and data you input.
• You grant Elai Labs permission to use your data to personalize and improve the experience.
• You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@elailabs.ai

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:

• Your personal data will be removed unless otherwise required by law or internal security measures.
• Your subscription, if active, will be cancelled at the end of the current billing cycle.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in Elai's software, design, branding, and content (except user-generated content) belong to Elai Labs OÜ. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the Services without written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

Elai may integrate with third-party services such as music platforms or productivity tools. We are not responsible for those services or their terms. Use of third-party tools is at your discretion.

10. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.

11. Force Majeure

Elai Labs is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, outages, cyberattacks, or acts of government.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
